21 July 2014
Today is the 21th of June and I'm alive which is a pretty good achievement for me these days. My mom's been off and I had to watch over three men of my family who can do nothing themselves. Anyway, sun is shining and hopefully will for at least one month. And I got several things coming up and ticking with a deadline too.
1. Sketchbook Skool
(yes, sKool). This project is AMAZING!!! Run by one of my favorite illustrators Danny Gregory, whose work was a hard kickstart for me to draw again after some tragedies in my life. If you're a beginner or a professional, doesn't matter... this course will get you deeper into understanding how art turns into life and vice versa.
Starts July 4
2. I've been procrastinating on an interior project for a VERY long time! So I have to get myself together and start doing it. Actually, the reason I'm being so lazy about is loss interest. My client seems to stretch it too, changing plans all the time or being away for several weeks , than firing up about floor or ceramics...
3. I got new da Vinci Cosmotop
series brushes to try! (Check out the link to see how cool they are!)
4. "Life is Grand" and my city is too small!
People to follow: Prashant Miranda
He's a great watercolorist, indian and a very charismatic person. (I've been thinking about words to describe my feelings about him and his art... there's just none. You have to see for yourself!) The link above goes to his blog and here's
his Facebook page. And! he's also one of the teachers of the first semester in Sketchbook Skool. You still have time to assign. Natalia Tyulkina
She's russian and amazingly great in doing watercolour patterns!!! (Yes I'm into watercolours recently...) Her paintings are astonishingly crisp and light. But the most interesting walkthrough is shown in her Instagram
Spanish vibe! Got a freakish idea of going to Cuba - Havana for spanish language and dancing lessons! Dreams... dreams...
